Driving home from a days work
body aching just from digging in the dirt
half my money goes to taxes and rent
plus the music we make dont pay a cent
all of the sudden I see a flicker
of red and blue lights in my rear
the cop comes up to my window with a bad vibe
looking at me like some kind of sad sight
he said you been stopped for a drug test
have you been using marijuana ectasy and meth
I said nah man I be sober today
then I think about the toke I had yesterday

So, I waited there by the side of the road
really wishing I was chilling at home
the cop came back up to me
and said I tested positive to THC
thoughts rushing as I started to freak
so shocked man I could barely speak
hadn't even had a puff today
and already the system's gonna have me in chains
so I took the day off just to go to court
waited 5 hours just to be called
the judge looked angry his face was all red
he said "sunny you've been driving off your head"!!!

The judge he barely let me speak
he said "you druggies are pathetic and weak"
and cause of a minor charge years ago
he was gonna make an example not to follow
six months without a license but it gets worse
3 months in the slammer I was destined to serve
now I'm sitting here by myself
B B B battling with my mental health
thinking how did this happen and why was it me
how does this benefit our society
I cant work man I can barely get around
